India’s engineers have quite a difficult job: they are going to make the world’s tallest arch bridge. The project is estimated to need 25,000 tons of steel! And this is just the beginning of the impressive numbers involved in this infrastructure project. The finished length will be 1,315 meters whilst its height is going to be 359 meters tall. Just imagine yourself crossing over a structure that is almost 60 meters taller than the Eiffel tower. Would you have the courage to do that? Especially when there are 266 km/h winds blowing at that height? The Chenab Bridge, as the large structure will be called, will most probably need some strong foundations in order to function properly and safely. Watch the video clip provided to get a better understanding of the magnitude of the world’s tallest arch bridge.
